  1. fun fact, there is little scientific basis for any health recommendation when it comes to diet. this is due to the fact that objective studies are almost impossible to create, so all of the data is based on self reported retrospective cohort studies, which suffer from a metric butt-load of biases. this is why the recommendations for what to eat change on almost a yearly basis.

  3. Fun fact about superfoods:
    It's entirely a marketing gimmick. There is no legal definition of what is a superfood and often whenever one is "discovered" it is based on a study/article/quote that has flimsy or discredited evidence at best and outright lies paid for by the producers of that food. They know people who are on diets are looking for a magic bullet to instantly make them thin instead just, you know, EATING LESS and so won't do the research needed to check that celery doesn't take more energy to eat than you get from digesting it.
    Here's an expert diet tip from someone who eats whatever he wants, whenever he wants, exercises basically not at all and can fit into a medium shirt: Eat less, exercise if you can, have the fatty stuff less often as a treat but mostly just eat less.

  5. As someone who goes to the gym and is studying nutrition and PT I can say this is absolutely well put together. I love everything you said especially how you casually explained it! Especially then "I don't want to lift weights because I don't want to get big." So many woman say that and honestly if that was true I would be pretty fuckin buff. I wish it was true ): I'm here 1 year and a half and not even close to where I want to be.

  7. From what I've figured out, it is that you can eat anything you want as long as you absolutely kill yourself in the gym. Worked out so far for me.

  8. It's reaaally not that hard tho. Make sure you don't have eat over 1200kcal a day. Make sure only a small portion of it is junk food/ dessert. Make sure you consume fruits, veggies, legumes and lean meat. Also don't skip working out. Eating healthy does not need to be a fancy fad. Wanna lose weight? Stop, eating, so, much. No amount of sugar free biscuits or green tea is gonna fix that.

  9. Keto isn't as limiting as most people would think. You can still eat sandwiches, crackers, and even cereal as long as they are made from the right ingredients that are keto friendly. The hard part is finding a good store or just making the food from scratch depending on where you live and your income. These days you can get a box of Magic Spoon and eat a bowl once every one to two weeks unless you're doing some extreme belly fat loss. But bread is a whole other beast because you have to abuse your wallet to get the right ingredients or order the bread online.

  12. I can’t eat anything for breakfast cause it makes me feel sick. After 10am I’m fine. No idea why. 🤔 I don’t mind though. Less work for me to do to make food 😎
